What items can I add to my gift list?
You can put anything you like on your wedding list, maybe a limousine to the airport, champagne on arrival, pamper days and even your honeymoon flight tickets. If you want money towards your wedding then why not add things like the wedding photographer, DJ, wedding car or maybe your wedding dress. If you want a new television or new kitchen applicances for your home you can add these too.
How can our guests pay for items on our gift list?
You can setup your wedding list to accept Cash, Cheque and/or PayPal. PayPal will enable your guests to pay by credit or debit card into your PayPal account (if you have one) and if you have a Premier PayPal account, your guests don't need a PayPal account of their own. All money goes to you, however if you decide to accept PayPal, PayPal do charge a small fee, which is deducted from the money you receive.
Where does the money go when our guests pay for a gift item?
All money goes to you, we don't receive any money from your guests. Cash and cheque contributions can be either posted to you or be given to you by hand by your guests. If you use PayPal, the purchase amount goes into your PayPal account and you can then withdraw the money into your bank account. PayPal are a very successful business allowing payments and money transfers to be made simply and securely through the internet. Please see PayPal for more information.
What happens when a guest contributes?
When a guest purchases a gift or contributes towards a gift, we will send the guest a confirmation email and you a notification email. If your guest chose to pay by cash or cheque then they will be given your contact details so that payment can be posted to you or they may wish to pay you in person, perhaps on the day of your wedding. If your guest wishes to pay by PayPal (and you accept PayPal as one of your payment methods) then your guest has the option to pay there and then or they can pay at a later date.
All purchases and contributions can be seen from your 'Bride & Groom Admin' page for you to easily tick off who has paid.
How do our guests access our wedding list?
Your guests can easily access your wedding list by clicking on the 'Guest Login' button at the top of any page. All you will need to provide them with is your unique wedding list number, which can be found on your Bride & Groom Admin page. Alternatively, they may access it by entering your wedding date and your surnames.
What happens to our gift list after our free trial expires?
After your 7 day free trial we will send you a notification email that your free trial has ended. To activate your account, you can log into your 'Bride & Groom Admin' page and click 'Checkout / Activate Gift List' and pay a single one-off payment of £39.99 GBP. This will re-enable your account and no information will be lost.
What happens to our gift list after our wedding?
Your wedding list will still be available to you after your wedding but no gift contributions and no changes to your wedding list can be made 30 days after your wedding. If this is not long enough, please contact us and we'll be happy to extend this for you for free.
